Are You a Great Manager?

Tuesday, December 14th, 2010

“I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions, I have been entrusted to take the game-winning shot and I missed. I have failed over and over again in my life (business). And that’s precisely why I succeed.” Michael Jordan

Have you ever wondered what makes the most successful leaders in the world so successful?  Is it their beliefs, their values, their thought patterns and their actions?

Well the answer is yes, yes, yes and yes!

What’s interesting is their actions form only part of their successful leadership strategy.  Each successful leader or manager has a process they do inside their head, unconsciously that enables them to think, act and behave like a great Manager.

There are many Management Development Programs in Queensland and all over Australia but how do you know which one is right for you to be able to learn the skills that enable you to be a great Manager?

What many Managers don’t know is that within each of their staff is a level of thinking or a ‘way’ of thinking that produces certain results.  Managing using one leadership style may work for some team members but not others.  The Managers I have worked with have expressed their absolute frustration about the complexities of managing the many different personalities in the workplace.

Here’s the great part.  All great Managers need to be able to do is to work out their teams’ thinking patterns and how each staff member processes information both internally and externally.

Sounds complicated?  Well it isn’t….

This is where Management Development Programs can fall short on delivery.  They focus so much on leadership styles instead of focusing on how to find out how staff are programmed, what their belief systems are and how to identify their blocks to producing high levels of productivity.

Imagine having that edge over your competitors that allows you to do less and achieve more.  Picture communicating much more effectively with staff and customers and feeling like you are a great leader for your team. Suppose you increase your sales and reduce your costs and have more effective and happier staff.

That would be useful wouldn’t it?

Well that is possible when you learn how to model excellent behaviour, strategies and beliefs and install it in yourself.

Our Management Development Programs in Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne teach you how to think, act and behave like a great manager.  The Management Development Program provides you with a simple tool that enables you to find out how your staff think and how they best need to be managed.  This enables you to lead them to be more productive, to be happier and more content in the workplace and to stay on board longer.

The focus of our Management Development Program is how we show you how to discover what makes the difference between good and great results.

The question is this, are you happy being a good manager or do you want to be a great manager? Visit http://www.lifechangingsolutions.com.au to find out more.

The Secret to Feeling Fabulous Everyday

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Is it really possible to feel fabulous everyday?  Absolutely!

So what is it I do exactly?

Well big picture – imagine you wanted a new bathroom, what’s the first thing you would do?  That’s right – you would take out all the old fittings.  Well that is what I do – I help you to resolve all those horrible past issues and emotions quickly and easily, so you can reach your true potential and live a fabulous life.

I regularly see people who suffer from anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, anger management, stress management, phobias and children with ADHD.  In fact there are so many different issues that these techniques can help.

After you explain your problem either in person or over the phone, I ask a series of specific questions to discover the core underlying issues.  I then teach you the techniques to release those issues. We then test and make sure the problem’s gone.

There is now a lot of research in the area of psycho-neuro-immunology, which demonstrates that holding on to negative emotions adversely affects your health.  When people realise this they want to let go old emotional baggage now and start living again.

This is a very fast process, for example, a phobia normally takes less than an hour.  Anger management issues can take between one to two hours.  A personal break-through session covering all aspects of life can take 8 to 10 hours.  So it is really quick and the changes are amazing.

I’m a Master Practitioner and Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy™, Coaching and Hypnosis.  I teach people how to let go of their old emotional baggage and remove obstacles so they feel good about themselves and achieve exactly what they want.

Speed Networking with NLP!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

A number of my colleagues and friends have been going to ‘speed networking as a way of quickly ‘sifting’ through potential customers to see if they can find the ‘one’ that might make the difference to their business life.

As an NLP Practitioner and Trainer, they asked me for some advice to make their time at speed networking more efficient.

This is what I had to offer on the subject:

You need to build rapport as quickly as possible.   Sounds simple?  Then why aren’t people doing it as quickly as a person trained in NLP can?

So what is rapport?

People do business with people they like….

Rapport is a process of responsiveness.  It means that if you are ‘like’ another person, they are more likely to ‘like’ you.  Have you ever been to a party and within minutes of meeting someone they say, ‘wow I feel like I’ve known you forever!’ Well that is an indication you are in rapport.

How do you get it?

You need to covertly match and mirror the person’s body language, breathing, tone of voice and if possible using similar words to them.  Do they speak quickly or more slowly?  If you match what they are doing, they will see something in you that is like them.

And I mean covertly!

I often hear people referring to rapport in NLP as ‘mimicking’ and it is certainly not that.  If you mimic someone you will lose rapport and end up achieving nothing out of your speed networking experience.

Learning how to build rapport quickly can help you in all kinds of situations from securing business deals to getting your proposal accepted easily and effortlessly.  How much business are you missing out on?  Find out how one of our graduates increased turnover by 300-400%

Monday, October 5th, 2009

Our graduates increase their income by an average of 26.5% following one of our courses!

Now I have to qualify this…

We are talking about business owners, people working in sales and on commissions.

What’s interesting is this percentage is taken across the board of our graduates and that means that those in business have had as much as 300% increase immediately.

So what makes the difference between someone in business trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming and someone who is not?  In a word, communication.

How can you communicate (linguistics) to get your message into the brain’s (neuro – logy) of your customers? That’s what Neuro Linguistic Programming teaches you.

Thanks for a brilliant course Jonathan and Deb! The results are really cool. I taught 4 of my 50 staff anchoring, eye patterns and buying strategies and they are turning over 200% – 300% more than they used to. Thank you.
