Anxiety Treatment with NLP

Monday, August 31st, 2009

I worked with a client who had been suffering anxiety for about 6 years and it was seriously affecting his home life.  When he came to see me, he had three panic attacks before I was able to get him to sit down to start the NLP techniques.  Three hours later, he had let go of all his emotional baggage, including fear and then I taught him a simple NLP Anxiety Model.  As a result he was able to let go of his anxiety and start focusing on what he wanted out of life.  On his way out of my office, he told me he was going to take his wife and two kids out for dinner for the first time in two years.  What was that worth do you think?

When a person feels anxiety or is anxious about something it is simply a warning from their unconscious mind that they are focusing on what they don’t want or something going wrong.  Try this out for a moment.  Try and be anxious about something in your past that went really well.  You can’t!

Using the NLP Anxiety model and a variety of NLP techniques, I show people how to start focusing on what they do want and how to let go of anxiety.  The actual process only takes a few minutes to teach you.  What you need to do is to want to let it go and then leave the rest to me.

What is your anxiety preventing you from doing, having and being?  Why not see what life looks like once you have let your anxiety go.

Spider Phobia

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

I used to have a terrible fear of spiders and it became so bad that I remember driving my kids in the car one day and I saw a huge spider on the windscreen and without even thinking I began swerving all over the road and then jumped out leaving my children in the car with the spider!  It was completely irrational and I could have hurt the kids but at the time I couldn’t help it.

Living in Forest Glen on the Sunshine Coast, I was faced with spiders on a regular basis and knew I had to do something about it.

People with phobias may struggle with the inability to control their fears.  This is because the root cause of the phobia lies at the unconscious level of the mind; so conscious effort or willpower won’t work to control a serious phobia. A phobia is best dealt with at the unconscious level, which is why the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Fast Phobia Model produces the most effective results.’

The NLP Fast Phobia Model enabled me to let go of my phobia and it only took about 30 minutes.  And while I don’t want to necessarily pick up a spider, I can now live in harmony with my hairy little neighbours!  I now teach these techniques to anyone who is struggling with a fear of spiders or snakes, fear of heights or fear of small spaces, the NLP techniques produce rapid results.
